In today`s video I demonstrated how to find profitable niche inside one of the biggest internet markets and that is the diet market. I was looking for the niche inside the niche, which means I was after the buying keyword with low competiton and high search volume.
The keyword had to justify the criteria of four elements:
- People must be searching for it
- Must be affordable competition on google to join the competition
- Keyword must be relevant to the niche name
- must have value ie. must be advertised in google adwords
To help me filter results from Google to get upper criteria based keywords, I used Market samurai. Market samurai is one of the most powerfull market research tools avaliable on market. Yet in beta phase, but already established as one of the best on the market. Settings used competition :
- less than 30 000 pages with same phrase in Google
- Seot less than 80, keyword must generate me at least 80 visitors per day
- Pbr: 15% broad match to phrase match must be within 15 % which gives me to justify relevancy of the searchable keyword
Lets see how it all went :
Wondering what are potential earning with finded keyword »star diet«. If we take mathematical approach and use conversion statistics from affiliate marketing, we get follow calculation :
Star diet is searched by 6.600 people by month, from Market samurai , we see that if we rank 1st in google search engine, we get 2700 potential users.
The affiliate product I` ll promote to potential buyers is »Loose 10 pounds, 10 years in 5 weeks« from celebrity trainer, Mike Heatlie who sells it for 49,95 USD $,
And from which we earn 24,47 USD$ for directing buyer from our affiliate site to his.
Affiliate stats are saying usually conversion numbers of buyers actually buying product when visit your site is 1-3%, which says out of 2700 potential buyers, the product buys from 27 – 81 people. Which would bring the affiliate from 660,69 to 1982 USD $.
So even if I dont perform with this site 100% I ll still be able to plug in few 100USD $ per month, on which I ll keep you up..
Next time I`ll say something more on Market samurai, market research tool. As you saw, it really does some very powerfull things, still not explore it fully.
